Our Center provides morning and afternoon snacks. Every month parents receive a menu with all the items offered.

Tuition is due regardless of whether the child actually attends the daycare on the days. Tuition is to be paid regardless of illness, vacations, holidays and inclement weather closings.  Do I get discount for enrolling siblings?

We offer a 5% discount for the second enrolling siblings. What is the illness policy?

If the child gets ill while in our center and it is contagious (fever, wet cough, infections), he/she will go in an isolated area with a staff member until parents pick up (or other pick up person on list), as soon as possible. A doctor’s note is needed in order to return. Children are to be kept at home for at least 48 hours after temperature is normal. Children are cleared to come back after 48h fever free without fever medication.  Is this Center a nut safe facility?

A Place Like Home is a peanut and tree nut safe facility. We have a number of children with peanut and/or tree nut allergies. Please carefully review food labels of any foods you send in to the center to ensure they are “nut safe” and have no warning labels of potential peanut or tree nut traces to help eliminate any potential risk to children with severe nut allergies.   How am I going to know about my child’s daily routine?

A Place Like Home keeps our families updated through an application called Brightwheel. This app is available for Android and iOS devices and it is a great way to keep you posted about your child routine, daily projects and activities. It includes real-time photos and feed of activities throughout the day, such as nap and meal times. Stay in touch with the teachers and strengthen school learning with activities at home. You can also invite grandparents, nannies, and friends – with control over what they can do and see on the app.
